NOTICE OF INFORMATIONAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 14TH, 2026, LOSAP VOTE
The Town of Batavia will be holding an informational meeting on Monday, September 14, 2026,
at the Town Court Facility located at 4120 West Main Street Road from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The meeting will discuss an upcoming vote to be held from noon until 8:00 PM on October 19,
2026, at the Town of Batavia Fire Hall, located at 8382 Lewiston Road. All electors that are
registered to vote in general elections who reside within the Town of Batavia Fire Protection
District are eligible to vote on October 19th
.
The Town is considering creating a Length of Service Award Program also known as LOSAP, to
help recruit and retain volunteer firefighters for the Batavia Town Fire Department. More
